Syntax Highlighting

Spider Writer dynamically colors tags as you type them.  With dynamic syntax highlighting, Spider Writer determines whether you are editing a tag or not and colors the text appropriately, as you type it!  Syntax highlighting applies to a variety of different web languages including: HTML, ASP, CSS, XML, JavaScript, VBScript, Perl, SQL, and PHP.

Many colors and font styles are used in syntax highlighting.  Each of these colors and font styles can be set in the Settings window accessed via the Options menu. The Settings dialog can also be used to change syntax highlighting styles for each of the web languages.
